6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Crown Jewel 2019

2. 5-on-5 Fun

There were no real stakes involved in the Team Hogan versus Team Flair tag match, but that wasn’t the point here.

What was the point was to have Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair parade around in front of the audience for a payday while “coaching” their respective teams. And what we got was a fun, entertaining 10-man tag match. It wasn’t overly complicated, but it also didn’t get weighed down with silliness either. It was something you might see on a big house show, complete with a clean pin after Roman Reigns hit a spear on Randy Orton.

There wasn’t much doubt that Hogan was going to beat Flair once again (naturally), but the action inside the ring was good enough to keep you watching even when you knew the outcome.
