6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Greatest Royal Rumble

Braun Strowman Greatest Royal Rumble

As much as Daniel Bryan winning the Greatest Royal Rumble would have been a storybook victory, it was the right move to have Braun Strowman finally win a big match in WWE. (Although how Bryan was tossed was aggravating.)

Strowman has been a force of nature in WWE during the past two years, but his titles consist of a one-day Raw Tag Team Championship run with 10-year-old Nicholas. He has performed impressive feats, but sooner or later, he had to put a signature win under his belt.

Friday, Strowman eliminated 13 men en route to winning a 50-man Royal Rumble. If that isn’t a signature accomplishment, then someone tell everyone what qualifies.

This might be a title win or a regular Rumble win (and WrestleMania championship match), but it is still noteworthy, and it was an impressive performance.
