6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 6)

You can just tell that Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe are enjoying their alliance of discontent.

Neither KO nor Joe truly believes the other, especially due to the crimes each man has committed in his career. But yet, they professed that the “enemy of my enemy is my friend,” a favorite (but accurate) explanation crowd for the uneasy détente.

Together, Owens and Joe are an entertaining duo, playing off each other in backstage segments while committing to each other against a common enemy. The fact that they have that level of credibility helps the two of them immensely. And the fact that both of them are legitimately great in the ring doesn't hurt either. It makes them a formidable team, regardless of whether Big Show is their third going forward or if they rotate others in to help. For now, they make a great Odd Couple babyface duo.

Hopefully, WWE manages to not screw this one up too badly.
