This is just a reminder that three months after being announced for the main roster, a batch of five NXT callups still have not been assigned to a brand.

Heavy Machinery (who showed up leading No Way Jose’s conga line on Raw), Nikki Cross (who hasn’t had a televised match in five weeks), EC3 (who only recently spoke for the first time), and Lacey Evans (who simply struts the ramp on both shows) seem to be trapped in this perpetual limbo where they don’t have a home, and thus can’t gain any traction whatsoever.

It’s really becoming a joke at this point, as none of them have done anything of note and haven’t had a sustained rivalry with anyone.

At this point, it might be better if they all went on hiatus until after WrestleMania and then resurfaced as part of one brand or another to finally put down roots.
