6 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE TLC 2015

Thank God Triple H was there for the REAL main event.

WWE closed out 2015€™s PPV schedule with a bit of a bang Sunday night, capping a lackluster TLC event with a hot angle that might, just might, succeed in making Roman Reigns a guy fans will openly cheer. But first, a word about TLC 2015€ expectations coming into Sunday night were not high, as WWE is dealing with a roster depleted by injuries, planned hiatuses and a reliance on part-time stars. The result is a series of guys who should be built up to take their places, but instead are mired in WWE€™s never-ending 50/50 booking, moving from one mediocre feud to another €“ unless you€™re the chosen one, in which case, you get to throw out €œtater tots€ as an insult. TLC itself wasn€™t a bad event. A couple matches were pretty good, but an energetic Boston crowd seemed out of it before the first hour was over, only coming to life at certain points. It was clear that they had little interest in the main event, but they roared back to life during the aftermath, which saw Reigns snap and take it to Triple H, seemingly setting up a major program. Still, it€™s impossible to call 2015 anything short of a disappointment, and this PPV certainly didn€™t do anything to change that mindset. So what climbed the ladder and what went crashing through a table? Let€™s get to it€
