6 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 17)

1. Making Lemonade Out Of Lemons

Somehow, WWE has managed once again to back into another hot feud leading into WrestleMania after the company€™s initial plans hit a big speedbump in the form of the Yes! Movement. Last year, Batista versus Randy Orton was the hot ticket, and this time, Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar was supposed to be the money match. But like last year, a fan revolt has forced WWE to call an audible and insert Daniel Bryan into the WrestleMania world title match plans. Whether Bryan actually goes on after Fast Lane to fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship remains to be seen, but WWE has stumbled upon a feud between Reigns and Bryan that boiled over Monday night. After Reigns dismissed Bryan as not taking his Royal Rumble elimination €œlike a man,€ Bryan engaged in some mind games with a little help from the fans. The tension reached the point where when they finally came to blows at the end of Raw, fans chanted €œLet them fight!€ as the refs pulled them apart unsuccessfully. That€™s a really good sign. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ46E4_QUJs While this couldn€™t have been how WWE drew it up, they have a ready-made feud for right after WrestleMania regardless of how the Bryan-Reigns Fast Lane match goes. It€™s not a great situation, but it€™s the best scenario WWE could have hoped for post-Rumble.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
