6. Give Booker A Chance

It€™s easy to dismiss Booker T as an announcer given his previous run on Smackdown, which didn€™t go over well at all. And Monday night, Booker certainly had cringe-worthy moments, including talking about €œGilligan€™s Island€ and how no one came to help the castaways and they all died on the island. Umm, what? However, Booker is a good 15-plus years younger than Jerry €œThe King€ Lawler, and he provides a fresh voice and different perspective. During the lumberjack match, he declared that, €œThis is a hit,€ and he criticized New Day for smiling too much, pleading for them to €œbeat up somebody, that would be a new day.€ Sure, there are going to be bumps in the road, but Booker T deserves a chance to grow into the role. If he€™s still messing up 50-year-old television references in a few months, then maybe he should get the axe, but until William Regal is brought up, this is at least a change to a stale announce team.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
