Wrestling most certainly is a man's world, but there are plenty of girls out there with big dreams and all the potential to flip this world on its head. Be it in unfathomable displays of athleticism, or in heart-stopping and compelling stories that pry both tears and joy, incredible women with prodigious passion and drive to excel in the industry are creating a whole new face for the future.
The key word here is "future". We're dwelling in a temporary slump, so it's easy to see how WWE would find comfort in reminiscing on its historic successes. It is paramount that we celebrate and praise our performers past and present for their achievements. Trish and Lita, Paige and Emma, Bayley and Sasha - all these helped break the glass ceiling and get us to where we are now. But you can't keep improving if you're stuck in the past.
