6 Ways Vince McMahon Can (Realistically) Save WWE Raw's Ratings

4. Give Baron Corbin A Rest

Does Baron Corbin have an ottoman full of incriminating photographs of WWE staffers, or something? There has to be some logical explanation why the former Constable, though admittedly not complete sh*t, seems to inexplicably monopolise a majority of the Raw's top-end content.

Raw's ratings have haemorrhaged in just about every segment Corbin has blighted in recent months. Pretty much all of the company's numerical nadirs have occurred whilst he's been on screen, as he gradually makes Lone Wolves of his viewers. And yet, almost two years on from his SummerSlam 2017 burial at the hands of a p*ss-taking John Cena, Corbin continues to be a thing.

At the end of this month, Big Bad Baron challenges Seth Rollins for his Universal Championship for the second pay-per-view in a row. Who is asking for this? And how many of this pool of absolutely zero will tune in the fallout show the next night? Corbin has some purpose - but it isn't as a television draw. He needs to be relegated, pronto.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
