6 Ways WWE Can Book Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

5. Reintroduce Lana

Though she’s yet to make her first SmackDown appearance following the Superstar Shake-Up, it looks like Lana is being built for a singles push. She and Rusev have been kept apart in their respective return videos, and while WWE probably won’t force them into another split angle, it seems as though ‘The Ravishing Russian’ is about to become an active competitor after her brief aborted foray last year.

There’s absolutely no way of telling how this will go. Lana has just 36 professional matches to her name, with just one of those (a 10-woman tag match at WrestleMania 32) televised. She has been regularly working the NXT house show circuit since the turn of the year, however, and WWE have clearly seen enough to be convinced that she can make it as a worker.

Winning is a longshot, but Money In The Bank would be a good place to debut Lana’s new gimmick. The women’s division likely won’t have a bigger spotlight all year than during their first ladder match, and the chaotic format should help hide any of Lana’s lingering weaknesses. An outsider? Certainly, but Lana shouldn't be disregarded.
