6 WrestleMania 34 Matches You Can't Believe You Care About

3. John Cena Versus... Nobody?!

Few wrestlers are heading into WrestleMania with a character arc as satisfying as John Cena's.

The former 'Face That Runs The Place' has fallen from his pedestal, and is now no longer guaranteed a match on the biggest show of the year, putting him in a unique position. His first response was to chase the WWE Title, but he failed. Cena's second? To directly call out The Undertaker, but despite John's constant challenges, 'The Deadman' has refused to show up.

As things stand, John Cena still doesn't have a WrestleMania match. That's fascinating, because while he'll likely end up facing Undertaker on the night, we're going into it almost completely in the dark. This is one of WWE's biggest stars we're talking about, too: not a faceless midcarder who can be thrown into the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Speculation is abound regarding what will actually happen at 'Mania. Everything from Cena vs. Biker 'Taker to a reincarnated Bray Wyatt rising as 'The Phenom's' successor has been mooted, but what if nothing happens? What if Cena shows up, calls his rival out, but there's no response? The odds are slim, but it's an interesting prospect.
