6 Wrestlers Who Carried The Ultimate Warrior To A Good Match

4. Andre The Giant

This may seem to be an odd choice for this list as Andre the Giant was an absolute shell of wrestler when he feuded with the Warrior in the late 80's. The pair had a house show feud (in addition to their respective teams facing off at the Survivor Series in the fall although Andre was eliminated effectively before the match really started) in 1990 after the Giant attached the Warrior on Brother Love€™s talk show. This would be the final year of Andre€™s legendary in-ring career and he was extremely immobile at this point in time. Yet, Andre continued to be an amazing name and presense in the ring which was a perfect stepping stone for the Warrior to use as he began his meteroric rise to the main event scene. Andre had never looked so conquerable as when the Warrior plowed through him and the Giant made his rival look like a true superhero. Best Moment: Again, the two never crossed paths in singles action at a major pay-per-view but there are many videos of their house show encounters. This particular video spotlights how Andre used what was left of his physical presense to effectively sell Warrior€™s power moves. Andre would usually wrap up each match by being slammed by the Warrior (a remarkable feat by both Warrior and Andre considering the Giant was at his heaviest and least mobile point of his career) which was an amazing show of will and ability by the big man given his health at that time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiFmdNWtvQ0 Andre was far from his best versus the Warrior but he still did an incredible job to put the fast rising superstar over to the crowd and make him appear as a dominant force.
