6 Wrestlers Whose Recent Push Complaints Weren’t Warranted

4. Kalisto

Before ultimately deciding to delete it, Kalisto posted a comment on social media which read ' 10 months...#freeagent.' The remark would seem to indicate that the former Lucha Dragon is unhappy and looking forward to parting ways with WWE.

To be fair, the Lucha House Party gimmick is awful. The group seems better suited to host a child's birthday than function as pro wrestling faction. Still, the talented high-flyer was given an opportunity to shine.

A few years back, he was prominently featured in a high-profile feud with Alberto Del Rio, had a fairly lengthy singles run, and even held the United States title a couple of times. This gave WWE an opportunity to get a feel for his ceiling as a singles competitor. While Kalisto's next-level athleticism and impressive move set got over with fans to a degree, it was clear that he wasn't going to become a breakout star.

He's an amazing (but error-prone) in-ring performer but hasn't demonstrated the mic skills or natural charisma required to be a next-level WWE standout. Sure, Lucha House Party is lame, but WWE has been pretty fair with Kalisto for the most part. Even as a member of the Hosue Party he's still getting a good bit of TV time.

It may be time for the former United States champ to head to what he perceives to be greener pastures, but taking jabs on social media seems unnecessary.

There's no need to potentially burn a bridge.
