6 Wrestling Couples Separated Between Rival Promotions

Long distance relationships.

Relationships + wrestling = difficult.

It's a simple formula, and it's one bolstered by talk from legends like Jim Ross (via his old 'Ross Report' podcast) that keeping a boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife away from the business has always been considered a good idea. Times have changed though, and there are literally dozens of public relationships popping up all over the industry, most of them in WWE.

It's not old favourites like Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, newer editions like Charlotte Flair and Andrade, Jimmy Uso and Naomi or even Aleister Black and Zelina Vega that we're focusing on here though. No, it's those couples that work for different wrestling promotions and therefore have to work harder to make their relationships tick along away from the ring that belong here.

None of the seven couples on this list earn a living under the same umbrella; they're all wrestlers, sure, but they don't get their pay checks from the same employer, and they're often operating on vastly different schedules that must make quality time rare.

Who says long distance relationships, even ones in the wrestling biz, don't work?
