Cody Rhodes hasn't been on WWE TV for a few weeks because his father Dusty Rhodes passed away. The last time he was on he was doing the Stardust gimmick. There's no guarantee that he'll keep doing that gimmick when he returns and quite frankly if he does return as Stardust it would be a huge mistake. What WWE has to do with Cody is bring him back with the Rhodes name. Have him do a promo saying he'll forever be known as Cody Rhodes, he's going to honor his dad's legacy and it will be very hard to boo the guy. The reason Sheamus would be a good feud for Cody is because the crowd aren't into the Irish brawler. He's a heel that isn't going to get cheered for what he does. In order for Cody to really succeed as a face, he needs to be paired up with a guy like that to ensure that he is consistently cheered. A feud like this would help legitimize Cody going up against a former WWE/World Champion like Sheamus. Even if Cody lost the feud it would still be beneficial for him although it would be smarter if Rhodes won their rivalry. It's certainly better than seeing Sheamus vs. Randy Orton again.
