5. The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg And Billy Gunn) Vs. The Ascension (Konnor And Viktor)
This Outlaws match might interest some fans, particularly those lapsed fans who still long for the Attitude Era. It will also be of interest to NXT fans, although WWE already drained some of the value in The Ascension by humiliating them in angles on Raw. The Rumble will be the night Konnor and Victor get their payback. They will devastate The New Age Outlaws. The veterans are basically in here for a short match to put the new boys over. It won't be pretty and it won't be long, but at least The Ascension will be going over. The standout NXT tag team have had a terrible start to their main show career. Hopefully the Rumble can be something to build upon. Winners: The Ascension
