A women's match is a good way to show that there are a lot of great female athletes in wrestling and it's not just about girls with fake boobs like some people might think. They can have competitive matches like this one between a heel Trish Stratus and a face Lita in the main event of Raw back in December of 2004. They had a long history to build up to the match with Trish in the heel role as the champion that did everything she could to make Lita's life hell. They did a fantastic job of having Lita work hard to earn the match and when she finally got it she took advantage in her home state of North Carolina. When Lita hit that Moonsault to win the Women's Title the fans went crazy for her. It was genuine emotion in that moment. That's something that anybody can relate to. A female viewer will admire how good they are. A guy might want to watch just to see two good looking chicks go at it. It's appealing to all kinds of people. There are a few other women's matches that would work like Trish vs. Mickie James at WrestleMania 22, Victoria vs. Trish in a Street Fight or even the Charlotte vs. Natalya match from NXT, but Lita vs. Trish is the one that stands out the most.
