7 Best WWE Matches To Show A Non Wrestling Fan

1. The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 25

Since it's the match that I feel is the greatest in WWE history, it has to be something that you would want to show a non-wrestling fan. The psychology of the match is pretty simple. Michaels is the underdog because he's the smaller guy who is trying to prove that he can beat the best on the biggest stage of them all. Since The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak was a huge deal at this point he was the prohibitive favorite not only due to his size, but his abilities as arguably the best big guy ever. There were so many things to like about this match. What made it so amazing is the amount of nearfalls in the last ten minutes of it. They were able to suck the crowd in with every two count because each guy was so well known by this point in their careers. All their signature spots drew monstrous reactions and there even was that scary moment where Undertaker landed on his head after he dove over the top to the floor. As they built up to the finish, you could hear the crowd getting louder and louder. Undertaker would get frustrated on a nearfall. Michaels would do the same. It was an emotional rollercoaster. Remember Undertaker's face when Michaels kicked out of a Tombstone? Utter shock. It was classic. If you show somebody this match and they really don't seem interested in it then they might never like wrestling. That's their loss. Not yours.
