Was Lita really a manager? In name, she wasn't. Her role was to be the girlfriend of Edge. However, she acted like a manager acts so she warrants a spot on a list like this. She also interfered in matches as much as any manager and also took some crazy bumps too. The addition of Lita helped Edge evolve into a main event level performer. Perhaps he could have got there on his own, but the Rated R Superstar persona became a legitimate thing because he had a hot woman like Lita by his side. He could brag about how he was with her and they weren't shy about kissing in front of the crowd, so it upset a lot of people. Their most memorable moment was probably the "live sex celebration" they had on Raw in early 2006, but it's her performance during Edge's WrestleMania 22 match against Mick Foley that I'll remember. There was a spot where Foley did his patented clothesline over the top while he had Lita on her back and she went tumbling all the way to the floor. It was crazy for her to do it, but she made it work. It should also be noted that Lita was also a fantastic manager for the Hardy Boys too. She added a lot to their act too.
