7 Big Returns That Could At WWE SummerSlam 2019
5. Luke Harper
Luke Harper's future with the WWE is about as clear as mud. He publicly requested his release back in April, which was quickly denied. Then it was reported last month that he was about be put back on the road, and then it was reported that he wasn't.
For the time he missed with injury, WWE are said to be adding 6 months to his contract, which was due to expire in November, 2019. If true, that's a long time to do nothing with a wrestler as talented as Harper. You would therefore expect him to return to the ring in some capacity even he's eventually exiting the company.
An appearance at SummerSlam would certainly be a big surprise, but not something that can be ruled out. If they want to include more people in the 'who's trying to kill Roman' storyline then adding a second Bludgeon Brother to the mix makes perfect sense. Harper has the perpetual look of a man who's just committed a violent crime.
