7 Biggest Potential WWE Scenarios After Money In The Bank 2015
WWE have opened up a world of possibilities with their booking this weekend.
Last night's Money In The Bank PPV saw more than a fair share of shocks. With Roman Reigns seemingly nailed-on to win the promise of a title shot, the briefcase was instead grabbed by Sheamus - an underwhelming option in the eyes of almost everyone, given the less-than-enthusiastic response to his recent return and heel turn. In a surprise of similar magnitude, WWE Champion Seth Rollins actually managed to defend his title without the help of anyone else, in a brutal match which saw him dish out and take an ungodly amount of punishment. The overall quality of the show is up for debate, but one thing's for certain: it has made the summer far less predictable. Rollins' future matches will no longer be able to rely on the seemingly-inevitable formula of "cowardly heel wins with help of lackeys", now that he has proven himself capable of defeating a dangerous opponent on his own. Reigns, meanwhile, finds himself shunted firmly out of the title scene, the latest victim to be thrust into a frustratingly one-dimensional feud with the criminally misused Bray Wyatt - a character never able to come up with concrete motives for his feuds. However, the two biggest question marks surely loom over Sheamus and Brock Lesnar. Will the Dublin native be allowed to hold onto that briefcase, despite the severe lack of demand for him anywhere near the WWE Championship? If not, who will end up taking his place? As for Brock, he'll almost certainly be gunning for Rollins - but nobody's quite sure just how terrible his revenge will be. Here are seven potential directions the WWE could take their top stars in following a landscape-shifting Money In The Bank PPV.
