Its safe to say that the New Days run as a top-flight heel tag team has run its course. The group, which got some of the strongest reactions on WWE television and often was the most entertaining part of Raw, has been running on fumes at times lately, clearly struggling to garner the same reactions from the crowd. However, there is a silver lining to all of this: One of the reasons New Days heel act is waning is that fans dont want to boo them. Theyd love to just outright cheer for them for a while. A face turn not only would freshen up the act, it would accommodate the fans. And it looks like we could see that face turn begin Saturday night at Roadblock, since the tag champs are squaring off against the heel faction League of Nations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VeDP3GNP4Y Heel versus heel matches are a rarity in WWE. You dont see the pairing often, and when it happens, there sometimes is a reason, such as one of the heels is transitioning over to being a fan favorite. If thats indeed whats happening here, League of Nations is the perfect foil to help New Day turn. Fans arent exactly rallying to the Leagues side these days bluntly, they get more apathetic reactions at times than anything else. So we could see the New Day begin their turn.
