6. Acknowledge Nikki Bella As His Girlfriend

It's pretty well known among WWE fans that John Cena is dating Nikki Bella, the diva who recently held the WWE Divas Title for a record 301 days. If you have watched Total Divas in the last three years then you would have seen it, and they also reference it on WWE.com quite a bit as well as on social media. If you watch WWE programming, however, it's not really mentioned. There have been times where it's been hinted at for different angles for both performers, but it's not like John and Nikki are sharing screen time on Raw or are involved in storylines together. While Nikki has been a heel for a few years, perhaps taking two or three months off to rest her neck and heal up could lead to her coming back as a face. The Bellas are actually really popular with WWE fans in terms of merchandise they sell, so making them babyfaces when Nikki comes back makes a lot of sense. If she's a face then putting her in a storyline with Cena is a definitely possibility. Plus, this could be a way to bring Daniel Bryan back. It has been acknowledged on WWE TV that Bryan is married to Brie, so they could use that as a way to make Bryan and Cena best buddies on screen. Since Bryan is arguably the most beloved wrestler in WWE, some of that could rub off on the Leader of the Cenation and lead to Cena getting more cheers, too.
