7 Classic WWE Moments That Haven't Aged Well

6. Lita's Miscarriage

Instead of Attitude Era favourite Lita lying motionless in a hospital bed, do your best to picture modern-day favourites like Charlotte Flair or Ronda Rousey doing the same. Those women are depicted as strong, independent people who are celebrated for their athleticism and spared the soap opera-style stories Lita had to power through.

In 2004, she was forced into a relationship with Kane, impregnated and then written to act distraught when clumsy creep Gene Snitsky caused her to miscarry. For his part, Kane did the most OTT sell job imaginable; it was almost like he was trying to act badly.

Academy Award winning drama this was not.

The whole thing is a mishmash of poor taste when looking back on it. Kane, a deranged psychopath, was using want-away Lita to spawn his child, and then WWE had the gall to pen an aborted pregnancy. Nothing was sacred back in those days, not even the lives of unborn babies.
