7 CM Punk WWE Matches You Will Never Get To See

You know, I'd wager that when all is said and done with professional wrestling, there won't be a bigger dream match that plausibly could have happened than this one. Steve Austin has said on a number of occasions that he won't be wrestling again, but the overriding feeling has always been that a WrestleMania match against Punk would be the one to coax him just far enough out. The characters and history of the two fit perfectly. Austin's beer-swilling redneck everyman going up against straight-edge, 'better than you' Punk. Both were outspoken, both were known for pulling a total of zero punches and the build would be worth the effort itself. Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
