The current United States Champion John Cena is all smiles whenever he talks about WWE and he should be. His career in WWE has made him filthy rich, he's got a gorgeous woman that he met through WWE (Nikki Bella) and he's one of the most famous professional wrestlers ever. He's also a 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion that is likely going to win that title two more times in his career to break the 16-time recognized record held by Ric Flair. Cena's also an actor. He's only starred in a few WWE films (Legendary is actually pretty good) and has some roles in upcoming features. He received a lot of praise from director Judd Apatow and writer/actress Amy Schumer in the film Trainwreck, which comes out in July. They said he was hilarious. There's another Cena feature film coming soon called Sisters, which stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. He's not the main star in it, but being a supporting actor in a major film with big stars will get him a lot of exposure. Cena will turn 38 this year. It would be a surprise if he's wrestling full time in five years. At some point he's going to get lured to do more movies, to wrestle less and make that transition. Hollywood will look at The Rock's success, see that Cena's also a muscular guy with good looks and want him to do more acting. WWE won't be against it because it would be another star from their company that makes it big, so that's good news for them. We can expect Cena to say all the right things about being a WWE lifer and he might be, but the reality is the lights of Hollywood can take anybody away, even Cena. It will probably happen before the end of his decade too.
