7. Sheamus
WWE.comSheamus is not necessarily a new guy, but he's always been somebody that Triple H has been a fan of. Remember that they feuded back in 2010 leading to a WrestleMania match and it continued after that too. Here's a Triple H quote about Sheamus from Power Slam magazine from over two years ago. The closest to me is probably Sheamus, because we always train together on the road. But I try to watch all the young guys matches and give them advice, if they want to hear it. If they take advice to heart and really want to improve, then Im wanting to help. As for seeing some of myself in someone? Thats tough. Sheamus just the other day showed up at a show he didnt have to be at. He does whatever hes asked to do without complaining, he goes to every show and is always wanting to work: he does it all, goes above and beyond. Thats what I was like. In March of this year, Sheamus did a
tweet saying he did not work out with Triple H: "I'm not HHH's work-out buddy. Trained with Hunter 3 times. In 2009. In Australia... Now. Back to me day off." That's an example of somebody lying. Hunter said they "always" trained together on the road years ago while Sheamus said it was just three times. Apparently people tease Sheamus about working out with Triple H and he decided to snap one day. It's not necessary, but it happened. It really doesn't matter what was true. The fact that they put the US Title on him is proof how much WWE believes in Sheamus especially after that that title was hurt after the unimpressive reign by Dean Ambrose.
