7 Current WWE Stars Triple H Is A Huge Mark For

1. Roman Reigns

WWE.comWWE.comThe build of Roman Reigns as the next big face of WWE started back at Survivor Series 2013. He was the sole survivor of his team after overcoming a 2-1 man advantage for their rivals. That was one year after The Shield made their debut on the main roster. Two months after that, Reigns eliminated the most men in a single Royal Rumble with 12 eliminations and finished as the runner up to Batista. Soon after that, The Shield went babyface and it was obvious that Reigns was on the road to becoming "the man" over the course of the next year. You might have noticed on Raw two weeks ago when Roman Reigns had a long staredown with Triple H while everybody else was out of the picture. That's because they're going to have a big match soon, most likely at Night of Champions in September since Reigns is currently scheduled to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam. When they had the two Evolution vs. Shield matches at Extreme Rules and Payback, they made a point to mention that it was Reigns vs. HHH that was the big showdown. When Hunter realizes that somebody is going to be the next big star he wants to work them. Look at CM Punk in 2011. Then Brock Lesnar in 2012. Three matches with Lesnar weren't necessary, but Hunter gets what he wants. Then there was Daniel Bryan this year. It's not a complaint by any means. Hunter's very good at what he does. He also knows how to play "the game" as well as anybody. If he's in there with the guy that's hot then it makes him look better. Make no mistake about it, Reigns is WWE's pet project. You can tell the crowd is getting behind him week by week. Triple H is too. That's best for business and even better for Roman Reigns.
