7 Dream Matches That Could Realistically Happen At WWE WrestleMania 33

6. AJ Styles Vs. Finn Bálor

As soon as speculation began to stir at the start of the new year that AJ Styles was potentially WWE bound, one of the first dream matches that came to the minds of fans was opposite Finn Bálor.

Whilst WWE outright acknowledged their history together on the Japanese wrestling scene and how Styles took the reins of The Bullet Club when Balor left for WWE, they haven't crossed paths since, aside from a brief backstage encounter at SummerSlam. Bálor refused to take part in The Club's collective "too sweet" gesture, planting the seeds for a future face-off between the two. Even if Bálor wasn't injured at the moment, it's unlikely they would feud any time soon given they are on separate brands.

Regardless, anything is possible around WrestleMania time, and it's not improbable Bálor will be back in time for the Royal Rumble. If so, he can win the annual Battle Royal as a surprise entrant, but instead of challenging for the championship he never lost (the WWE Universal title), he can set his sights on AJ Styles' WWE World Championship.

Granted, this is all a matter of whether Bálor is cleared to compete in time, and if Styles is still champion six months from now, but it would be an incredible inter-promotional match for the spring spectacle.
