When Nakamura officially signed with the WWE on February 21, it was also confirmed that he would indeed be starting out in NXT beforepresumablymoving up to the main roster. And while it seems strange that one of the most accomplished performers in the entire industry still has to go through developmental, this isnt necessarily a bad thing. For starters, it throws up the possibility of Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe in the very near futurea showdown that the wrestling world has yet to witness in any company around the globe. Their similarly strong styles, consisting largely of strikes and submissions, would make for an intriguing contest. And with more than 30 years of wrestling experience between them, these two could probably put on an excellent show with their eyes closed. The only thing that makes me think we may not necessarily see this match transpire in NXT, per se, is the fact that the company may instead choose to save this one for the main rosterthe kind of stage it rightfully deserves.
