5. Brock Lesnar
Speaking of old-school slugger-types, no such conversation would be complete without a mention of Brock Lesnar. And furthermore, being a former UFC Heavyweight Champion makes him the most legit guy on the entire roster, so to pair Nakamura with him would be a great way of showing fans how highly-regarded the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion is. Much like Nakamura and Owens, these two have also faced off against one another in the past. That meeting came a decade ago during Brocks brief post-WWE stint in New Japan, and it was the Beast who came out on top on that occasion with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship on the line. But so much has changed since that meeting. And just as the Lesnar of 2006 is by no means the Lesnar of 2016, the Nakamura of 2006 is a vastly different performer to the Nakamura that we see today. That in itself should create enough intrigue to justify a rematch between the two.
