Had Chris Jericho and Big Show's run as unified tag team champions meant more historically than it did, their reign in 2009 may top this list.

Created out of necessity after original partner Edge suffered a torn Achilles tendon, Jericho forged an alliance with Big Show that led to dominance within the tag division. Whether they were defeating regular teams like The Colons or Legacy's Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, or knocking off mega teams like Rey Mysterio and Batista, the duo established itself as one of the best makeshift teams in WWE history.

The duo, former world champions in their own rights, possessed a chemistry that few thrown-together teams could ever tout. Jericho was the yapping and braggadocios villain while Big Show was the silent muscle. Together, they terrorized WWE and established themselves as legitimate champions capable of causing pain and punishment, both physically and mentally, to any opponent.

Jericho thrived in his prime and the result was a wildly entertaining stretch that saw him remain a fixture at the top of the card, even as tag champion.
