Kofi Kingston's humbling loss to Brock Lesnar was the sort of cruelty WWE have become rather comfortable with when it comes to booking 'The Beast', but a post-show interview exclusively for the company's website seemed to suggest there was a little bit more juice in the fruit left yet.

Kingston's reign has ultimately been quite forgettable, but it's worth considering how often stints with straps are boiled down to how they start and how they end. In The New Day man's case, it couldn't look more spectacular, despite this recent loss.

Regardless, the opportunity still exists for Kingston to have his AJ Styles/Daniel Bryan/Finn Bálor-type encounter with the man that dethroned him. Either within the confines of the Cell or just with ample use of their surroundings, the two could potentially have a bottlerocket of a battle to at least conclude Kofi's time at the top with a touch more dignity. It's stature-enhancing for Brock too, ahead of what should be a blockbuster next move...
