7 Match Star Ratings For WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

4. Bobby Lashley Vs. Riddle Vs. John. Morrison - United States Championship Match

Randy Orton Drew McIntyre
WWE

A sort of Amazon / Wish parallel between the incredible Triple Threat match at the 2015 Royal Rumble, only a bit better than that snarky description suggests, the idea was to remove the United States Title from Bobby Lashley without ruining the heft of the main event angle. Under that not easy basis, this worked. Of course, WWE had to sacrifice a babyface to get it over, but who cares?

It's only Riddle.

He's a chicken sh*t anyway. One of the most legitimate wrestlers on the roster is a chicken sh*t heel masquerading as a babyface. This is closer to 1997 Kane trying to weasel out of a match than it isn't.

It's a shame that he's so great, because he is. Whenever Lashley wasn't around, Riddle swarmed Morrison in a sprint match-within-a-match and overwhelmed him with a furious burst of his credible fire. He then cheated to win an urgent sprint that rushed its sh*t for a purpose beyond hollow excitement. What an unlikeable f*ck Riddle is.

The finish to this thing, Christ. It didn't hurt Lashley.

That's good!

Riddle is a babyface and he bolted from the scene faster than Linford f*cking Christie.

That's bad.

Star Rating: ★★★¼
