Big Johnny was a delight on WWE television in 2012, the main event of Over The Limit notwithstanding - so as long as his role is limited to the odd unwitting, deluded gem of a line, he shouldn't outstay his welcome.

With the knowledge that Laurinaitis was directly responsible for years of years of putrid product devoid almost entirely of big stars and great wrestling (the nadir of which, of course, was 2011), it might be difficult to receive him in the intended spirit.

Make sure to bone up on your history before showing the blowhard too much in the way of affection.
