4. Bully Ray Reckons Shane McMahon Would Do Well In MMA

CM Punk was obliterated by Mickey Gall at UFC 203 after training for years on an informal and formal basis. It didn't matter how much he enjoyed sparring, how dedicated he was to it, or how the luxury of wealth afforded him the best trainers and training facilities imaginable. He was a 37 year old amateur - at least a decade too late to entertain the notion of competing at even a moderate level of mixed martial-arts.

Even with the brutal evidence of Punk's damaging defeat right in front of their eyes, Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer have this week suggested that Shane McMahon - a decade older than Punk at 47, and thrower of the worst worked punches in all of wrestling - has what it takes to enter the octagon.

"Shane's crazy," Ray told TMZ cameras. "I think the world should have Shane McMahon enter UFC because he is a real badass," Dreamer followed up. Ray simply nodded sincerely, as if Dreamer hadn't just said the most moronic thing you'll hear all year. "There's no doubt," he agreed. Ray supported his argument by confirming that Shane doesn't give up easily in a bout of backstage horseplay, as if that is even vaguely synonymous with the most dangerous combat sport on the planet.

Dreamer's comments are even dumber than they are at face value. The world should have Shane enter UFC? Is he literally God's gift to us all?

Shane has come under fire in some quarters for his in-ring game - but on this evidence, he's a hell of a worker.
