7 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (April 28)

5. Kalisto's New Entrance Theme Is Called...

..."Make A Good Lucha Thing".

Is there a more vindictive company on the planet than WWE?

Kalisto is already shorthand for botch merchant - why WWE feels the need to stigmatise him forevermore as a total geek is beyond comprehension. The man was recruited and earmarked as a potential replacement for Rey Mysterio - but he is now a rudderless punchline. On the surface, it's not all that baffling; WWE revels in ribbing its independent contractors. But distancing itself from accusations of a bullying culture and bullying Kalisto with this nonsense in the span of a week is insane, even by their standards. Besides which, if a certain recent trend continues, he's probably in line for a Universal Title shot at Extreme Rules.

What other hilarious themes could WWE use to stigmatise the stars who are meant to make them money as losers for all eternity?

Perhaps Dean Ambrose could debut a new track entitled "Bored And Unmotivated". Maybe Asuka could enter Full Sail University to the strands of "Not Cosmetically Pleasing Enough For The Main Roster". Apollo Crews' prospective new theme - "We're Jobbing You Out To See If You'll Eventually Stop Smiling" - isn't exactly catchy, but it explains his booking, at least.
