7 Moves The Undertaker Tried To Adopt That Didn't Stick

5. Butterfly Lock

When 'Taker resurrected his Deadman persona in 2004, he went to a lot of effort to prove that he wasn't the same plodding undead mortician of the early '90s. So, while the hat, coat, urn and Paul Bearer all returned, The Phenom still very much wrestled like he had for the past seven years.

However, he still tried to update his move set to highlight how he could utilise diverse forms of offense to take down his adversaries. Thus, during his first televised match since his WrestleMania XX return, he used a modified Butterfly Lock to pick up the win over the FBI. While effective, it was rather jarring to see The Deadman's first match on SmackDown in quite some time end in such abrupt fashion. The lock didn't really catch on and he quickly returned to the traditional Tombstone Piledriver finishes.
