7 Original Documentaries That Should Air On WWE Network
An in-depth look at Vince McMahon and more Austin/Rock would be great to see.
The WWE Network has been airing the Monday Night War series for several weeks now and it has been receiving all kinds of rave reviews from wrestling fans. While most fans know all about how WCW was on top, then WWE passed them and bought them out, it's really been interesting to hear about a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that led to certain events. There have also been specific episodes highlighting key people or events like when Mick Foley won his first WWE Title, when Bret Hart was screwed out of WWE and the formation of the NWO among other things. Wrestling fans love knowing more about the business. They are passionate about the WWE so much that they're paying $9.99 per month for the WWE Network so that they can watch things like WCW Nitro episodes from 19 years ago. That's not normal behavior, but for wrestling fans it is. In addition to the Monday Night War documentary, WWE has also done documentary features about The Ultimate Warrior, Daniel Bryan and all three members of The Shield. They've all been very well received also. The plan for WWE Network should be for more documentary features. Whether they are one or two hour airings at once or multi-part series, they need to do more of them. What should the subjects be? Here are seven ideas that WWE really needs to consider.
