7 Potential Teams For WWE's Cruiserweight Tag Division
2. The Lucha Dragons
Getting The Lucha Dragons back together and putting them front and centre in a new Cruiserweight tag team division seems like an absolute no-brainer, so much so you wonder whether the whole concept wasn't conceived of for this very purpose.
The justification for this should be pretty clear. Kalisto briefly held 205 Live's biggest prize last year, but since losing it to Enzo he has fallen sharply off the radar, losing his quarter final match last week to Roderick Strong.
Sin Cara, his ex-partner, has perhaps had even less to do over on SmackDown. In fact, we've barely heard from him at all since he challenged for Baron Corbin's United States Championship back in November. He needs a new angle and, happily, weighs in at under 205 lbs.
Apart from all of that, they also look and feel like a genuine team, with similar attire and in-ring styles. This worked for them in a big way a couple of years ago, and there's no reason they couldn't rekindle the magic if paired up again in 2018.
