7 Pro Wrestlers Under 25 With The Brightest WWE Futures

2. Rich Swann (NXT)

Turns 25 on February 15th, 2016 One of NXT's most exciting prospects of 2016 is Rich Swann. After spending six years on the indy scene and starting out as a teenager training in CZW, Swann developed a reputation for being one of the most exciting pro-wrestlers in the US. He became a mainstay in Evolve and Dragon Gate in Japan while putting on routinely excellent performances in PWG at the same time. In 2014, after tearing the house down at an Evolve show, rapper Wale tweeted out that he was the future of the business and needed to be in WWE. This caught the attention of WWE star Mark Henry who arranged a tryout for Swann and, on October 28th 2015, WWE officially announced they'd signed Swann and that he'd report to NXT. With a distinct look, unique expressions and a phenomenal and varied moveset, look for Swann to debut on NXT at some point this year and become a featured part of the show. With his talent and his track record, you can bet that in the next few years, Rich will be making the jump to the main roster and stealing the big shows.
