7 Promises AEW Have Made Since Launching (But Haven't Kept)

The rollout of AEW's United Kingdom TV deal wasn't well-handled and while this promise was more implied than guaranteed, that this situation went down the way it did makes it worthy of inclusion.

Tony Khan originally trumpeted a deal with "the best partner we could have chosen." In May, he told comedian Jack Whitehall that AEW would air on ITV4 - a free-to-air channel broadcasting to more than 27 million British homes. A legitimately huge agreement, provided it had been struck, but the version announced to the public in September was much different.

It began with a tweet from @ITVWrestling stating that while Dynamite would be on ITV4, wouldn't be live. The full two-hour show would go down on Sunday mornings (four days after airing in the US) and would be followed by condensed highlights on Mondays.

Understandably, the reaction was one of immediate, widespread disappointment, prompting Khan's follow-up announcement that Dynamite would be available on FiteTV - for a fee.

ITV now endeavour to upload Dynamite to their ITV Hub streaming platform within 24 hours of it airing in the United States, though they regularly miss the mark.
