7 Questions We're Asking After WWE Payback 2017

3. Why Does WWE Hate Bray Wyatt?

In the weeks leading up to Payback reports circulated making it clear WWE was unsure what an actual "House of Horrors" match was. They even sent a survey out to fans asking them what they'd like to see from such a bout (surprisingly refrigerators was not on the list). This left us all with no idea what to expect.

What we didn't need survey results to reveal is that WWE has fumbled Bray Wyatt's booking worse than anyone on the roster. Character-wise he's insanely talented outside the ring and one of the more unique performers inside it. He stands out in every way possible, yet he's been little more than a jobber to the stars.

Yes, I realize he was just world champion, but he lost the title in a match he should have won to a guy that's been on top forever, and it only required one standard RKO. Any momentum he still clung to was killed when he was shifted over to Raw in the shakeup.

The House of Horrors match wanted to be The Final Deletion but ended up more akin to WCW's Hulk Hogan/Dungeon of Doom wrestlecrap. Rather than adding to Wyatt's mystique, it left him looking even more inept.

After battling all throughout Bray's crumbling - or dare I say dilapidated? - shack, Wyatt dropped his fridge, presumably full of worlds, on top of his opponent, leaving him incapacitated. The stipulation called for the match to end in the arena so Bray stumbled out to a limo, instructing the driver to deliver him to his victory.

There are so many things wrong with this. Bray Wyatt lives in California now? What if traffic had been gridlocked? In the event one man was unable to render the other incapable of travel, were they supposed to rideshare back to The SAP Center?

While I feel like a brat for complaining about Bray winning, it took an attack from The Singh Brothers - who looked like literal children next to Orton - and that dude from 3MB to help him pull it off. So even though he won, he sill managed to appear like a bumbling goof.

I'm a Bray Wyatt mark and WWE is making me hate them for it.
