7 Real Reasons Why WWE Fans Don't Watch TNA

7. The Six Sided Ring Is Tough For Fans To Get Used To

When TNA brought the six sides back, some of their wrestlers were openly complaining about it. Austin Aries went on Twitter to say that it wasn't as good as a four sided ring because when you're standing on the top rope you have to spread your feet further apart and a lot of guys aren't used to hitting moves that way. When you run the ropes or do a corner spot you're not going straight across. You're going at an angle. The wrestlers aren't really used to that. There is nobody watching the show because the ring has six sides on it. That's just one of those things that people might think is cool for about ten seconds, then they move on to the product and hope it's exciting. If it's not then people will turn it off just like any show on television. The hardcore TNA fans might look at the ring and think it's something special, but really what's the big deal? It's not like fans are going to pay money to go to a show just to see a ring. It's the content inside the ring that really matters. That's a problem with how TNA markets itself. They spent all this time asking fans if they should go back to six sides when in reality it doesn't matter. It's actually smarter to go with four sides because then at least the average viewer is more inclined to tune in since they remember four sides in WWE, WCW, NWA, ECW and whatever else they may have watched growing up.
