7 Real Reasons Why WWE Fans Don't Watch TNA

1. There's Already Too Much Wrestling To Watch Every Week

This is the big one and it's really not the fault of TNA. For a lot of people that are fans of professional wrestling, there's simply too much wrestling on television. A lot of casual viewers may only watch Raw because three hours of one show is enough wrestling for them. Even when it was two hours, that was probably enough. The second biggest WWE show is Smackdown, which doesn't get as many viewers as Raw although it tripled TNA most weeks. That's because the booking is usually better, there's a lot of talent on the show and the average fan is used to the WWE product. When those fans know they are watching five hours of wrestling in a week, do you think they want to add another two hours of wrestling watching to their life? In a lot of cases, the answer is no. There are other television shows that people want to watch. Impact Wrestling isn't a good enough show on a consistent basis for people to really go out of their way to see it. Compare it to WCW Nitro when they started, had people that fans wanted to see and did a big NWO angle that brought people in. TNA was never able to do something that got people talking that way. While the diehards might be fine with watching that much wrestling in a week, the average fan is probably content with one or two shows, but not three.
