It's fair to say that neither man has the classic WWE superstar look. It's long been proven that Vince McMahon enjoys tall, bulging athletes with a relatively clean-cut, almost movie-star facial appearance - attributes neither Owens nor Punk really have. Neither are short, both billed at over 6'0", but hardly measure up too well in a locker room often branded "the land of giants". Punk's tattoos and fairly un-athletic frame made him a visual outsider, as do Owens' portly frame and everyday appearance However, the WWE is currently embracing a return to the grittier look preferred during the Attitude Era. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose hardly fit the mould either, with their greasy locks and understated attire, while even golden boy Roman Reigns has tattoos and a distinctive long mane. As such, Owens' unassuming (if large) appearance shouldn't hold him back as he progresses up the ranks - it could even help him stand out further.
