7 Reasons ROH Deserves A TV Deal Far More Than TNA

7. Better Wrestling

Although TNA has undoubtedly delivered some fantastic matches over the course of its 13-year history, it has always had the capability to stink up a ring like no other promotion out there. It was responsible for the infamous "minus five stars!" cat fight between Sharmell and Jenna Morasca, and often drags the most promising of match-ups down with convoluted booking and ridiculous finishes. The main reason Ring of Honor has survived (and thrived) in the cluttered independent wrestling scene is, quite simply, its consistently brilliant in-ring action. Although sometimes criticised for its ultra-indie style (superkicks galore, wrestlers kicking out of multiple finishers, etc.), the fact remains that ROH workers can always be relied upon to deliver classic matches. Just a quick glance at some of the most skilled WWE names in recent years confirms the promotion's pedigree; CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and current top dog Seth Rollins all enjoyed long reigns as ROH Champion, a belt usually reserved for the best of the best. Every match on a Ring of Honor card usually has show-stealing potential, while most TNA shows feature at least one or two bouts of utter garbage.
