7 Reasons Sting Vs Bray Wyatt Is A Perfect Feud For WWE

7. Bray Wyatt's Momentum Is Restored

First and foremost, Bray Wyatt has been crying out for a major storyline to reignite his faltering career. The Eater Of Worlds started 2014 as one of WWE's hottest performers, contesting what is widely regarded as the best match of the year, in January's epic victory over Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble. More brilliant performances followed in The Wyatt Family's matches with The Shield. However, a long spring feud against John Cena was more of a curse than a blessing. The character dynamics didn't really gel (Wyatt was cheered when he was meant to be booed) and John ended up beating Bray at WrestleMania 30 and Payback. Things got worse for the bearded bad guy when he was then pinned cleanly by Chris Jericho at Battleground. Any meaningfulness a Wyatt vs Y2J feud may have had was instantly killed and the Eater Of The Worlds has since treaded water. It appeared as if management had lost a bit of faith in their next big star. Which brings us to now. A Sting feud is the perfect tonic to Bray Wyatt's career woes. It'll set him back on the right track, giving him an instant elevation of importance by association with WWE's biggest buzz story. There's no doubt about how big Sting's WWE debut is going to be, so if Bray has indeed got the gig of working with him, it's going to be a major boon for the young man's career.
