Big E will remain with WWE for the foreseeable future despite his ex-New Day stablemates Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shockingly leaving the company recently. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select just dropped word that E "is viewed internally as a valuable presence and is seen as a key reason for the kickoff show's success".

Basically, he'll be sticking around on those pre-PLE panels to offer punditry and insight.

Some fans had questioned whether or not the former WWE Champion, who had to retire from in-ring action due to a 2022 neck break, would depart himself and join his buddies elsewhere. Apparently, that doesn't seem to be on the cards, at least not for now. It looks like this is where E, Kofi and Xavier part ways behind the scenes years after doing the same on camera.

Of course, Big E played a major role in New Day's heel turn at the tail end of 2024. In truth, Kofi and Woods never really got going as heels after that, but things might've been different had E been able to work a match or do something physical with the pair. Without that, the heel run was dead in the water.

A source who knows all about production for those pre-shows firmly believes that E will stay put and keep on doing his thing for WWE. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen where his former faction will end up. AEW has been touted as a possible destination for Kofi and Xavier, but pretty much anything is possible.
