7 Reasons Sting Vs Bray Wyatt Is A Perfect Feud For WWE

4. The Shared Character Dynamics

From a storyline point of view, Sting vs Bray Wyatt... just feels right. All compelling narratives need characters that gel, and these two dark enigmas certainly match up. On the one hand you have the deranged Wyatt, on the other hand you have the brooding hero. It's almost like Batman and The Joker, you've got Sting as the protector and Wyatt as the villain - yet both have some shared traits of shadowy anger. This can play out in very entertaining fashion on WWE television. Sting can stalk Wyatt from the shadows, acting as the hero who stops the heel's criminality. In many ways it'll be the same kind of Sting role we saw him in against the NWO in WCW. Then you'll have Wyatt, cutting crazy promos about why he needs to stop Sting's legend. These promos should be the same sort of cryptic riddles that Wyatt made reference to in his tweets. "Ants out to destroy the scorpion." A teasing and twisting story of two dark souls, heading towards an inevitable final battle.
